Investigation: Cries for Help
This is one part of an investigation which spanned 16 months. The series received multiple national honors, including a National Headliner Award, IRE Medal and Casey Medal. Angie uncovered abuse and multiple deaths in foster homes in the Indiana child welfare system. Her reports showed how the state failed to protect these children in their care. This determined reporting required a battle over public records which Angie and her team ultimately won. As a result of the series, the state passed a law requiring background checks for foster parents and making prior death records of children in foster care public. The Child Protective Services agency was also restructured after this powerful series of reports.
Investigation: Endo Pharma
As Communications Director and Investigator at the James Hoyer Law Firm in Tampa, Angie uses her media and investigative skills to produce powerful documentaries. This is an excerpt from a documentary on the firm's whistleblower case against Endo Pharmaceuticals, which was exposed for illegally marketing a pain treatment patch. The video was instrumental in helping to secure a $192.7 million settlement against the company.
Investigation: Living Tax Free

Angie tracked down both individuals and businesses, traveling all over the state and even to Florida, where several debtors were found living in luxury. The story is included in the Investigative Reporters and Editors (IRE) database.
